The air itself is one vast library on whose pages are forever written
all the that man has ever said or women whispered
Charles Babbage1

The title of this work, The Fragment Corpora, originates from on-line dictionaries, which, in addition to supplying definitions and synonyms, also often provide a Corpus – a set of examples of how, and in which context, particular words are used.

The accompanying photographic illustrations are drawn from a range of sources, both analogue and
digital, and refer to the confusion of images that form the background to our personal existences, and
how they have come to form both the recollections of our own past and that of wider, collective histories.

The Fragment Corpora (Book) is published by PURE LAND PRESS.
